Hong Chai, MD, PhD, FAPA

Dr. Chai obtained his medical degree from Zhejiang University School of Medicine (formerly Zhejiang Medical University) in Hangzhou, China. He later earned a PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Hong Kong. He completed his residency in Psychiatry at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, serving as Chief Resident during both his residency and fellowship.

Dr. Chai is double board-certified in General Psychiatry and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). He is a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association (FAPA) and an active member of the Texas Society of Psychiatric Physicians. Dr. Chai provides comprehensive outpatient psychiatric evaluations and treatment for children, adolescents, and adults.
